Character Profile: Skylar Grayson
For our first blog post of the month, we are going to do a character profile on Skylar Grayson. We are going to be doing a number of these throughout the month all leading to a profile on James Stark and Michael Smith.
Skylar Grayson, daughter of Abigale Grayson and lead science officer on Rise. She arrived on Rise during the second deployment. Her science officers scoured Rise learning all they could about the planet.
This led to the death of many scientists as they were attacked hundreds of times by the creatures on Rise. The Negallen Army protected the scientist, but when the Bali started attacking the science officers were brought into the bases not to go out again.
When James rotated into Rise, she was sent to lead him around. When he drove to the front, Skylar continued to follow. She would take dozens of wounded soldiers back to base saving their lives. When James was sent north, he requested her and her science officers to come.
Skylar is headstrong and stubborn. She also has one of the brightest minds on Rise. It was Skylar that found a way to melt the metal used to make Bali weapons and created bullets using the metal. She also tended to the wounded men. When casualties were mounting because a toxin the Bali used she found a way to cure it. She's not the greatest fighter, but when James needs something done she's the only one he turns to.
